Research Article, Review Article, Large Scale Application Report, Scientific Data, Rapid Letter, Editorial, News, Commentary, Perspective, Patent Report.

1.) Research Article (~6000 words, ~10 figures/tables) describe unpublished, original research results related to superconductivity. Articles should include an abstract highlighting its novelty, an introduction, methods, data and analysis results, a summary conclusion, and approximately 40 references. The materials and methods section should be detailed within the main text, while any supplementary data, additional experiments, or methods can be included in the supplementary information to ensure that the conclusions of the paper are well-supported.

2.) Review Article (~8000 words, ~15 figures/tables) provide a comprehensive and in-depth overview and analysis of existing research on a specific topic, highlighting key issues and future directions. They typically include an abstract, an introduction that outlines the scope of the topic, sections with brief subheadings that addresses various aspects of the topic, a discussion of unresolved issues, and an exploration of future developments. Review articles should not contain unpublished original research. Reviews are categorized into four types: 10, 20, 50, and 100 years, meaning that the main text of the review summarizes the advancement in 10, 20, 50, and 100 years.

3.) Large-scale Application Report (~6000 words, ~10 figures/tables) present significant new research results with broad implications. The content should include a detailed overview of large-scale projects, including background, key technologies, main achievements, and challenges faced, aiming to offer a comprehensive analysis of the project’s implementation and application.

4.) Scientific Data (~4000 words, ~10 figures/tables) emphasize the presentation of critical original experimental data and measurement results, particularly in scientific research and product development processes, such as the electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical properties of superconductors and related materials.

5.) Rapid Letter (~2500 words, ~4 figures/tables) are for publishing original academic achievements that have made significant breakthroughs and need to be published quickly. For these articles, authors must state briefly, in a covering letter, exactly why their works merit rapid publication. A recommendation letter from member of Editorial Board (Editorial board - Superconductivity | ScienceDirect.com by Elsevier) or Early Career Editorial Board (ECEB) Program (News - Superconductivity | ScienceDirect.com by Elsevier) is preferred.

6.) Editorial (~1500 words, ~1 figure/table, ≤5 references) provide views on a specific topic, field, or research advancement, rather than presenting new experimental data or technological innovations. Most items in this section are invited by the editors, but unsolicited contributions are also welcome. Editorials should be submitted through EM system and may be reviewed by peers. Editorial may be peer reviewed at the editors' discretion.

7.) News (~1500 words, ~1 figure/table, ≤5 references) provide in-depth analysis on big news. It should report the latest research advancements, academic developments, or significant events within the field of superconductivity. Most items in this section are commissioned by the editors, but unsolicited contributions are also welcome. News may be peer reviewed at the editors' discretion.

8.) Commentary (~1500 words, ~1 figure/table, ≤5 references) presents an analysis by readers on articles published in Superconductivity or other journals containing constructive scientific advice and/or offering fresh insights. These items are often commissioned by the editors, but unsolicited contributions are always welcome. Commentary may be peer reviewed at the editors' discretion.

9.) Perspective (~1500 words, ~1 figure/table, ≤5 references) present the author's personal insights and analysis based on a deep understanding and unique perspective on a specific academic issue, field, or research topic. The primary objective is to interpret and critique existing research findings while also offering projections for the future development of the field. Such papers typically focus on theoretical discussions and emphasize systematic thinking and articulation of viewpoints regarding relevant issues. Most items in this section are commissioned by the editors, but unsolicited contributions are also welcome. As these are meant to express a personal viewpoint, with rare exceptions, perspectives should have no more than two authors.

10.) Patent Report (~1,500 words, 1 figure/table, ≤5 references) facilitate the progress of significant translational patents and illustrate the principle, pipeline, and manufacturing of such products.
